Olympics unites BCH residents from across the state for day of games, food and fun

The annual Baptist Children’s Homes (BCH) Olympics ignites the fire of friendly competition, but most importantly, it unites residents from across the state.

“What I love the most about this day is how it brings together our staff members, children and special needs adult residents,” said BCH president/CEO Michael C. Blackwell. “It’s a time where we can have fun while reminding us all that we are a part of a big family that stretches across the state.”

Staff members and residents traveled from their statewide locations to Mills Home in Thomasville on Saturday, May 21 to compete in the annual games. From volleyball to sack races, residents face off against one another and are awarded medals for their efforts.
