[The Best of 2018] Friendships bring blessings to children

Charity & Children's Top Stories

Church and community relationships have resulted in new friendships and support for BCH’s children and families.

The Broyhill Home Barbecue Festival, an annual, volunteer-driven event led by Ninevah Baptist Church in Waynesville, raised more than $41,000.

The Ride to Clyde motorcycle charity ride, led by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, brought in $55,000.

And the Hope in Style back-to-school style show, bringing together business and community support, raised $85,000. The generosity of friends and churches is essential.
